•The
clause forbids transfer
i)In so far as such transfer would be
opposed to the interests affected thereby.
ii)for unlawful object or consideration
iii)to a person legally disqualified to be a
transferee.
•Air,
Water, Light are not transferable because untransferability is
inherent in such things.
•Things
dedicated to religious or charitable uses are treated to be res
extra commercium and
can not be subject matter of transfer.
•No
transfer can be made for unlawful object or consideration.
